In the year 2003, Zebra Group was started as a free zone trading company based at Dubai in United Arab Emirates. Initially the Company was in the business of importing and re-exporting of different products to the African countries. Within a short span of less than two years, the group expanded and established to a fully fledged business group with major interests in Electronics, Home Appliances and Building Materials, with member companies spread in Middle East and African countries. In the year 2005, the Zebra group registered itself as a Free Zone company in Jebel Ali free zone (JAFZA) in Dubai, and rose to the level of group's flagship company with own warehousing and logistic facilities, to cater to the demands of supporting services. The largest trading operation of Zebra group is in Angola followed by United Arab Emirates and then to Republic of Congo.
